The Kazansky railway terminal (also called Moscow Kazansky railway station) is one of nine big train stations in Moscow, Russia. It's located on Komsomolskaya Square. Right across the square, you'll find two other major stations: Leningradsky and Yaroslavsky. In 2020, it was even named one of Europe's best train stations!
Kazansky station is super important for travel in Russia. It mainly serves two long railway lines. One goes east towards cities like Kazan and Yekaterinburg. This route is part of the famous Trans-Siberian Railway. The other line heads southeast to Ryazan. From Ryazan, trains can go to many places in southeastern Russia, Kazakhstan, and even countries in Central Asia. Local commuter trains also use this station.
