The Toyota Owners 400 is an exciting NASCAR Cup Series stock car race. It takes place every year at the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. Drivers race for 400 laps around the track. That's about 300 miles!

For a few years, a company called Crown Royal let people name the race. They held an essay contest. The winners got to have their name in the race title! From 2010 onwards, only military service members could win this special contest.

This race used to be held on Sunday afternoons in February. But the weather was often too cold. Sometimes, snow even delayed the race! So, in 1991, lights were added to the track. The race then moved to Saturday nights in May or June. Since 2012, it has usually been held on the last Saturday in April. In 2020, the race couldn't happen in Richmond. It was moved to Darlington Raceway because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Denny Hamlin is the most recent winner of this race.
