The 12th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was a super fun event held on May 1, 1999. It took place at Pauley Pavilion on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California. Many famous music groups performed live from Orlando, Florida. These included 3rd Storee, Britney Spears, TLC, and NSYNC. Over 6 million kids voted for their favorites! This awards show was also special because it aired right before "Help Wanted". That was the very first episode of the popular cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants.
