Buttolph-Williams House

The Buttolph-Williams House in Wethersfield is a great example of an early New England home. Built in 1692, it shows how people lived and designed houses way back then. It's a real peek into the past!

Silas Deane House

Also in Wethersfield, the Silas Deane House was the home of America's very first foreign diplomat, Silas Deane. He played a big role in getting help for the American colonies during the Revolutionary War. The house was built in 1766.

First Church of Christ, Congregational

The First Church of Christ in Farmington (built in 1771) is famous for its connection to the Amistad freed slaves. After they won their freedom, some of the Amistad Africans stayed in Farmington and were helped by the community, including this church.

Old Newgate Prison
