Damián Hugo Quintero Capdevila, born on July 4, 1984, is a famous Spanish karate athlete. He is known for his amazing skills in kata, which is a special form of karate. He won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Damián has also earned many medals at other big competitions. He has won four silver medals at the World Karate Championships. He also has seven gold medals from the European Karate Championships and three gold medals from the European Games.

Damián Quintero was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When he was young, his family moved to Torremolinos, a town in Malaga, Spain.
