Damián Hugo Quintero Capdevila (born July 4, 1984) is a famous Spanish karate athlete. He is known for his amazing skills in kata, which is a series of movements in karate.
Damián won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He has also earned many other medals. These include four silver medals at the World Karate Championships. He has won seven gold medals at the European Karate Championships. Plus, he has three gold medals from the European Games.
Early Life and Karate Journey
Damián Quintero was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A few years later, his family moved to Torremolinos, a town in Malaga, Spain.
He started learning karate in 1991. He trained at a Goju Ryu school led by Lorenzo Marin. In 1997, Damián showed his talent early on. He won the Spanish national championship in the children's group.

Damián Quintero has achieved a lot in his karate career. He has competed in many big events around the world.
In 2017, Damián won a silver medal. This was at the 2017 World Games in Wrocław, Poland. He competed in the individual kata event.
