Fun Stunts and Events
The Kids' Choice Sports Awards are known for their exciting stunts and lots of slime!
- Michael Strahan hosted a dance-off. Athletes like Mikaela Shiffrin, P.K. Subban, P.J Tucker, and Ibtihaj Muhammad showed off their moves.
- Two kids got to try making free-throws in basketball. Next to each hoop was a huge dunk tank filled with green slime. Basketball stars Candace Parker and Isaiah Thomas were sitting above the tanks. The child who made the most shots would make their star fall into the slime! Candace Parker ended up getting totally covered in green slime.
- JoJo Siwa hosted a throwing challenge. Alex Shibutani, Maia Shibutani, Shaun White, and Chloe Kim competed. The loser caused a cast member from the show Knight Squad to get slimed.
- Marc Summers and Liza Koshy played a game of Double Dare. The contestants were host Chris Paul and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.
The Legend Award
The NASCAR racer Danica Patrick received the special Legend Award. This was a big deal because she was the first woman to ever get this award! After accepting her award, Danica Patrick was completely covered in thick, gold slime. This slime shot out from hidden jets on the ground. Getting slimed is a fun tradition for all Legend Award winners!
