The 13th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was a big event held on April 15, 2000. It took place live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. About 17,000 people came to watch the show.
This exciting awards ceremony was shown on Nickelodeon. Rosie O'Donnell hosted the show for the fifth year in a row! She had some cool co-hosts too, like LL Cool J, David Arquette, Mandy Moore, and Frankie Muniz. A special SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon was even shown to introduce the nominees for Favorite Cartoon.
More than 15 million people voted for their favorites. This included votes for ten categories that were only available online.
