List of countries by coffee production facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

This article lists countries that grow and produce a lot of coffee beans. To grow coffee, countries need the right climate and ways to process and ship the beans. Many of these countries sell their coffee to big coffee companies and shops around the world.

These large coffee companies help support the economies of developing countries. They sometimes pay a bit extra for coffee beans. This helps make sure farmers are paid fairly and that coffee is grown in a way that is good for the environment (called sustainable farming). Countries that produce a lot of coffee have a big impact on the global coffee market.
