Sheriff Callie's Wild West is an animated TV show from America and Canada. It was created by George Evelyn, Holly Huckins, and Denis Morella. The show first aired on Disney Junior on January 20, 2014. A special preview episode was shown earlier on December 13, 2013. The series is like a Western movie, but its main message is about "Getting along with each other." It also premiered in Canada on January 25, 2014. The show ran for two seasons and ended on February 13, 2017.

What is Sheriff Callie's Wild West About?
The story takes place in a fun Wild West town called Nice and Friendly Corners. All the characters are cute, talking animals. They usually get along well and are very friendly. But sometimes, the townsfolk face problems or have disagreements.
The show follows Sheriff Callie, a brave calico cat. She is the town's sheriff. Her friends are Deputy Peck, a red woodpecker who looks after the jail, and Toby, a friendly saguaro cactus. Together, they help solve problems. They also teach everyone in town how to be good friends and work hard. Their goal is to make Nice and Friendly Corners the friendliest town in the whole West!
Who Are the Main Characters?
Sheriff Callie and Her Friends
- Sheriff Callie (voiced by Mandy Moore) is a calico cat. She wears a pink cowboy hat, a yellow sheriff badge, and pink neck kerchief. Callie is the sheriff of Nice and Friendly Corners. She is a skilled cowgirl. She can ride a horse, do flips, and even hang from a rope while holding a horse! Callie loves to sing, write songs, and play her guitar named "Sweet Strings." She often says "Sweet sassafras!" or "Leaping lassos!" Her magic noodle lasso can change into different shapes. It can become a stairway or a hammer to help her solve problems.
- Sparky (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is Sheriff Callie's loyal blue horse. He is always ready for an adventure.
- Deputy Peck (voiced by Lucas Grabeel) is a woodpecker. He is Sheriff Callie's deputy. He wears a brown hat and a shiny deputy badge. Peck is good at keeping the jail tidy. He is also Callie's second-in-command. Sometimes, he can be a bit of a show-off and likes things to be perfect. Peck calls Toby his best friend. He loves trail mix and often ends his sentences with "...on account of I'm the deputy!" He also says "Holy jalapeños!"
- Clementine (vocal effects by Jessica DiCicco) is Deputy Peck's strong but slow mule. She can be a bit stubborn.
- Toby (voiced by Jessica DiCicco) is a friendly 6-year-old saguaro cactus. His full name is Tobias P. Cactus. Toby is Peck's best friend. He always sees the good in things and is almost always happy. He is a great dancer and loves to have fun. Toby wants to learn how to twirl a noodle lasso like Sheriff Callie. He often joins Callie and Peck on their adventures, rolling around in a barrel. Toby loves milkshakes and popcorn. He can also play the harmonica. When his spines get him into trouble, he says he's "a pokey cowpoke."

- Little Prickles (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) is a goat. Toby received him as a Christmas gift.
- Governor Groundhog (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) is a groundhog. He is the governor of the state where Nice and Friendly Corners is located.
- Uncle Bun (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) is a rabbit. He owns the town's general store. He can be a bit forgetful.
- Ella (voiced by Mo Collins) is a cow. She runs the milk saloon. She serves milk and delicious milkshakes. Ella is also good at juggling milkshakes. Her catchphrase is "Sweet Buttermilk!"
- Priscilla Skunk (voiced by Cree Summer) is a female skunk. She loves to look her best and enjoys roses and makeup. She is Farmer Stinky's cousin.
- Farmer Stinky (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) is a male skunk. He is Priscilla's cousin. Unlike Priscilla, he is usually dirty and lives up to his name. He can grow special prairie peppers.
- Dirty Dan (voiced by Gary Anthony Williams) is a peccary miner. He is Dusty's younger brother.
- Dusty (voiced by Gary Anthony Williams) is a peccary miner. He is Dirty Dan's older brother.
- Baxter Badger (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) is a badger who works as the town banker.
- The Prairie Dogs (voiced by Jessica DiCicco and Lucas Grabeel) are three prairie dogs. They sometimes sing songs to recap events.

The show features a lot of Western music. It has songs inspired by country pop and Appalachian music. Mandy Moore sings the opening song for the series. George Evelyn, one of the creators, said that Mandy Moore was perfect for Callie's voice. She can be sweet but also spunky when needed.
