Pretz facts for kids
Pretz (pronounced PREE-tsu) is a popular Japanese snack made by a company called Ezaki Glico. It's a stick-shaped snack, a bit like a thin pretzel. Unlike another famous snack from the same company, Pocky, Pretz sticks are covered in tasty seasonings instead of a sweet coating.
Different Kinds of Pretz
Pretz snacks come in different sizes to suit everyone. There's the Regular size, which is the most common. Some flavors also come in a bigger Giant size.
There's also a special Kid's size. These packs are smaller and the snacks are usually sweeter, made especially for younger children. Kid's packages often have fun cartoon characters on them.
You can even find Double Pretz, which has two different flavors on one stick! Each half of the stick has its own unique taste. Another interesting type is Meets Wine Pretz, which is a cheese-flavored snack designed to go well with drinks like wine.
