Hynden Walch (born February 1, 1971) is an American actress. She is famous for using her voice to bring many cartoon characters to life! You might know her as Starfire from the Teen Titans shows and movies, or as Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time. She also voiced Penny Sanchez in ChalkZone and Elsie in Stanley. Besides cartoons, Hynden Walch has also acted in live-action films like Groundhog Day.

Early Life and Acting Journey

Hynden Walch was born on February 1, 1971, in Davenport, Iowa. She started acting on stage when she was just 11 years old. When she was 16, she went to the North Carolina School of the Arts to study voice. Later, she moved to Chicago, Illinois, and performed in many plays. One of her big roles was in a Broadway play called The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. For her amazing performance, she won an award called the Outer Critics Circle Award. Hynden has been married to Sean McDermott since 1999.

Hynden Walch has voiced many popular characters on television. She was Starfire in Teen Titans and Penny Sanchez on the Nickelodeon show ChalkZone. She also voiced Elsie on the Playhouse Disney show Stanley. You might also recognize her voice as Ace in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, and Harley Quinn in The Batman. In anime, she voiced characters like Amy Stapleton in IGPX and Nia Teppelin in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. She even voiced Alice and Wendy Darling in some Disney movies, taking over from the original actress.

In video games, Hynden Walch has lent her voice to many characters. She was Jasmine and Junko in Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble! and Coco Bandicoot and Polar in Crash Team Racing. She also voiced Viridi, the Goddess of Nature, in Kid Icarus: Uprising. People really loved her performance in that game! In live-action roles, she played Mae Capone on The Untouchables and Debbie in the movie Groundhog Day.
