IFK Norrköping is a professional football club from Norrköping, Sweden. The club is also known as IFK or Norrköping. They play their home games at PlatinumCars Arena. The team's colors are white and blue.

IFK Norrköping was started on May 29, 1897. They have won many titles over the years. This includes thirteen national championship titles. They also have six national cup titles.

The club plays in the top Swedish league, called Allsvenskan. They first won this league in 1943. The 1940s were a very successful time for the club. They won five Swedish championships and two cup titles. Famous players like Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm played for them then.

In 2015, IFK Norrköping won the Allsvenskan again. This was their first win since 1989. This victory also earned them a spot in the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League qualification rounds.

Club History and Major Wins

IFK Norrköping has a long and proud history. They won the first division eleven times in just 20 years. Their last win in that period was in 1963. They won their twelfth championship in 1989.

On October 31, 2015, IFK Norrköping won their thirteenth championship. They beat the defending champions Malmö FF 2–0 in Malmö. This happened in the very last game of the 2015 Allsvenskan season. A week later, on November 8, they won the Supercupen. They beat Swedish cup winners IFK Göteborg 3–0.

The club also used to have an ice hockey team. This team played in the top Swedish division in the 1950s. Later, in 1967, their ice hockey team joined with a local rival's team. This new team eventually became known as IK Vita Hästen.
