List of current Major League Baseball stadiums facts for kids

Did you know that Major League Baseball (MLB) has 30 different stadiums where teams play? These amazing places are called ballparks. The oldest one is Fenway Park in Boston, where the Boston Red Sox play. It first opened way back in 1912! The newest stadium is Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. This is the home of the Texas Rangers, and it opened in 2020.
Most of these stadiums have real grass fields. But five of them use artificial turf, which is like fake grass. Some stadiums are named after companies, like "Chase Field." But nine stadiums have kept their original names. They do not have special naming rights deals. These include famous places like Dodger Stadium and Yankee Stadium.
