Simon Weaver (pictured in 2007) has managed Harrogate Town since 2009, though much of this time was spent outside the English Football League until 2020.

In England, there are 92 professional football teams in the top four leagues. Each team has a person in charge called a manager (sometimes called a head coach). Their job is to lead the team, pick the players, and decide how they play.

The two main professional football leagues in England are the Premier League and the English Football League (EFL). The Premier League is the very top league, with 20 clubs. Below that, the EFL has 72 clubs, split into three divisions: the Championship, League One, and League Two.

It's pretty common for football managers to change teams often. A study in 2020 showed that managers usually stayed with their team for about 423 days. But some managers stay for a very long time! For example, Simon Weaver has been the manager of Harrogate Town since May 2009. That's a really long time in football! Jürgen Klopp, who manages Liverpool, is another manager who has been with his club for many years.

This page lists all the managers currently working for clubs in the Premier League and the EFL. They are listed in order of when they started their current job. Some managers might have worked for their current club before, left, and then came back.
