Martina Stoessel (born March 21, 1997), known as Tini, is a famous singer, actress, dancer, and model from Argentina. She started her career as a child actress. Tini became very well-known for her main role in the Disney Channel Latin America show Violetta (2012–2015). This show was a huge hit around the world.

Tini became a teen idol and had great success with her music. She released her first solo album in 2016. Later, she explored different music styles like Latin pop and reggaeton. Her albums have topped charts in Argentina and other countries. Tini is one of the best-selling and most-streamed female artists from Argentina. She has won many awards for her music and acting.

Early Life and First Steps in Her Career

Martina Stoessel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her mother is Mariana Muzlera, and her father is Alejandro Stoessel, a TV director. She has an older brother named Francisco.

Tini started learning about music and dance at a young age. She took lessons in singing, piano, musical theater, and dance. She went to two bilingual schools in Buenos Aires.

In 2007, Tini appeared in the Argentine children's TV show Patito Feo. She played a character named Martina. She also had a small role as young Anna in a flashback. In 2011, Tini recorded the Spanish version of "The Glow," called "Tu Resplandor." This song was part of the album Disney Princess: Fairy Tale Songs.

Becoming Famous with Violetta (2012–2014)

Tini's father showed a project to Disney Channel producers. They then told him about auditions for a new TV show called Violetta. In late 2011, Tini got the main role after many auditions.

Violetta was a musical show for teens. It was made by Disney Channel Latin America and other Disney channels. Production for the show began in Buenos Aires in 2012. Tini played the main character, Violetta Castillo, for all three seasons.

She sang the show's theme song, "En Mi Mundo." This song was released as a single in April 2012. It was also on the first Violetta soundtrack album. Tini later recorded Italian and English versions of the song. For her role, she won "Female Newcomer" at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards Argentina.

From 2013 to 2014, Tini and the Violetta cast went on their first concert tour. It was called Violetta en Vivo. They visited many places in Latin America and Europe. This tour was very successful and sold millions of tickets.

Tini also sang on other Violetta soundtrack albums. In 2013, she performed at a UNICEF charity event. She also recorded the Spanish and Italian versions of "Let It Go" from the Disney movie Frozen.

In 2014, Tini had a voice role in the Italian version of Monsters University. She also released her first book, "Simplemente Tini." It was a biography about her life and rise to fame. That same month, she held a free concert in Buenos Aires.

Tini played Violetta again in the movie Tini: The Movie (2016). This movie was a sequel to the TV series. Filming took place in different countries like Italy and Spain. The movie was released in May and June 2016. It earned over $17 million worldwide.

The movie was filmed during the Violetta Live international tour. This tour ran from 2015. It was one of the highest-grossing tours by a Latin artist. In August 2015, Tini signed a music deal with Hollywood Records. She became the first Argentine artist to sign with them. She started using her stage name "Tini."

Her first solo album, Tini (Martina Stoessel), came out in April 2016. It was a double album. One disc was the soundtrack for Tini: The Movie. The other disc had Tini's solo pop songs in Spanish and English.

"Siempre Brillarás" was the first single from her album. Its music video included scenes from the movie. Tini performed songs from her album at her first solo show in Buenos Aires. This show was filmed and shared online.

In 2017, Tini started her first solo concert tour, the Got Me Started Tour. It began in Europe and then went to Latin America. This tour was the highest-grossing tour in Argentina that year. Tini released "Te Quiero Más" with Venezuelan singer Nacho in October 2017. This was the first song from her second album. In April 2018, she released "Princesa" with Karol G. This song became her first to reach number one in Argentina.

In August 2018, Tini became a coach on La Voz Argentina. She was the youngest judge on any The Voice show. She released "Quiero Volver" with Sebastián Yatra in August 2018. This song was also from her second album.

Her second album, Quiero Volver, was released in October 2018. Tini started her second concert tour, the Quiero Volver Tour, in December 2018. She also voiced Moxy in the Spanish version of the animated movie UglyDolls (2019).

In May 2019, Tini joined the show Pequeños Gigantes Argentina as a judge. She released "22" with Greeicy in May 2019. This song reached the top ten in Argentina. "Fresa" with Lalo Ebratt came out in September 2019. It reached number three in Argentina.

"Oye," a duet with Sebastián Yatra, was released in October 2019. It also reached the top five in Argentina. In 2020, Tini released "Recuerdo" with Mau y Ricky. She also appeared in a two-part docuseries about her Quiero Volver Tour.

Tini collaborated with Khea on "Ella Dice" in July 2020. This song reached number four in Argentina. She also appeared on a remix of María Becerra's song "High." This remix reached number two in Argentina.

Cupido and More Hits (2021–2023)

In early 2021, Tini signed with Sony Music Latin. "Miénteme" with María Becerra was released in April 2021. This song quickly became number one in Argentina. It was Tini's first number-one hit in her home country. "Miénteme" also appeared on the Billboard Global 200 charts. This made Tini and María Becerra the first Argentine female artists on these charts.

In June 2021, Tini joined Duki on a remix of MYA's song "2:50." This song reached number three in Argentina. She also collaborated with Lola Índigo and Belinda on "La Niña de la Escuela."

In August, Tini released "Maldita Foto" with Manuel Turizo. In November 2021, she released "Bar" with L-Gante. "Bar" also reached number one in Argentina and stayed there for seven weeks. Tini also contributed to the movie Koati soundtrack.

In February 2022, Tini released "Fantasi" with Beéle. In May 2022, she released "La Triple T". This song also reached number one in Argentina. It was her third number-one single and her first as a solo artist.

Tini started the Tini Tour in May 2022. This tour visited Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and the United States. She became the first female artist to sell out six shows at the Hipódromo Argentino. This made Tini the first Argentine woman since 2014 to have an album in the top ten of that chart.

After Cupido, Tini released more collaborations. "Me Enteré" with Tiago PZK came out in May 2023. In October, she appeared on "Lágrimas" with BM. Her final release of 2023 was "La Original" with Emilia. This song debuted at number one in Argentina and stayed there for seven weeks.

New Music and Projects (2024–Present)

In April 2023, Tini shared that she was working on her next album. She said it would be "different" and about her personal struggles. Tini's fifth studio album, Un Mechón de Pelo, was released on April 11, 2024. This album was her most personal project. It talked about her mental health, family, and being famous. It was a different sound from her previous albums.

The first song from the album, "Pa", was released on April 1, 2024. It became number one in Argentina. Other songs like "Posta" and "Buenos Aires" also charted.

Tini performed a series of five concerts in Buenos Aires in April and May 2024 to promote Un Mechón de Pelo. These shows were also released as streaming specials. Musical Style

When Tini was in Violetta, she sang pop and Latin music. She continued with this pop sound on her first solo album. As she grew, her music changed. Her second album, Quiero Volver, explored a more serious Latin music sound.

On her third album, Tini Tini Tini, she added reggaeton, cumbia, and trap music. She liked that this album had "a lot of variety." Her fourth album, Cupido, mixed Latin music with electronica. Tini also sings romantic ballads. She likes to try different styles and evolve her music.

Tini was inspired by other Disney Channel stars like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez. They also became successful singers. Tini has said that everyone follows their own path.

As she became more famous, Tini found other inspirations. Billboard magazine says her biggest influences are Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and Shakira. Tini has worked with many brands. In 2015, she became the face of L'Oréal's Miss Manga mascara in Latin America. In 2016, she worked with the clothing brand Cher. In 2017, Tini launched her own clothing line called Tini by Martina Stoessel.

In 2018, she created two perfumes with Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada. She also became an ambassador for Haval cars and Pantene in Argentina. In 2020, Tini became the face of Pandora jewelry and Adidas in Argentina.

In 2022, Tini worked with WhatsApp for a campaign about gender equality in music. She also collaborated with Pull&Bear on clothing lines. In 2023, she became an ambassador for Hawkers sunglasses and Maybelline.
