Fighting Style
McGregor is known for his "counter-striking" style. This means he waits for his opponent to attack, then strikes back quickly. He prefers to fight standing up, rather than on the ground. He is famous for his accurate strikes and powerful knockouts.
McGregor is left-handed and usually fights with a "southpaw stance." But he often switches to an "orthodox stance" to confuse opponents. His boxing skills are considered his best. Most of his wins come from knocking out opponents with punches. Many experts say his "pull-back left-handed counter" punch is his most dangerous move.
