Great Seal of the United States (obverse)
The Great Seal of the United States is a special symbol of the USA.

A "Key to the City" is a really special honor that a city gives to people who have done amazing things. It's not a real key that unlocks anything, but it's a symbolic way for a city to say "thank you" or "we're proud of you." It's like being given the freedom to enter and leave the city as a trusted friend. This list shows some of the famous and important people who have received this honor in cities across the United States.
