Early life and musical start
Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. His parents, Qanat Qūdaibergenūly Aitbaev and Svetlana Aitbaeva, are both musicians. His father used to lead the cultural board in Aktobe. His mother is a singer and helps run a children's music studio.

He started performing at a very young age. At two years old, he had a small role in a theater show. His parents and teachers quickly noticed he had a special gift called absolute pitch, meaning he could identify musical notes just by hearing them.
When he was five, he began taking piano and singing lessons. That same year, he sang on stage for the first time. At six, in 2000, he won a national piano contest called Aynalayin.
Education and musical training
Dimash continued his music studies at the Aqtobe Music College. He learned to play the violin and sing. He is very thankful to his early teachers and his grandmother, who took him to lessons every day.
In 2014, he finished his studies in Classical Music, focusing on voice (Bel Canto). Then, he went to the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. There, he studied Contemporary Music, like jazz and pop. He graduated with a major in Voice in 2018.
