List of countries by grape production facts for kids
This article shares facts about how many grapes different countries grew between 2017 and 2022. This information comes from a group called the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database. In 2022, the world grew about 74.9 million metric tonnes of grapes. That's a huge amount! It was a little less than in 2021, though.
The country that grew the most grapes in 2022 was China, producing about 16.8% of all grapes worldwide. Italy was the second biggest producer, making 11.3% of the world's grapes. France came in third, with 8.3% of the total.
