Knockout Stage: The Road to the Final

After the group stage, the tournament became a knockout competition. This meant that if a team lost a match, they were out of the World Cup. Teams had to win every game to keep playing. This stage included the Round of 16, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and finally, the Third Place Play-off and the Grand Final.
