This page lists the winners and nominees for the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is a group in the UK. They give out awards every year for great work in film, TV, and interactive media.
The award for animated films started in 1955. Back then, it included both short and long animated movies. Since 2006, the award mainly goes to full-length animated films. This is because a separate award, the BAFTA Award for Best Short Animation, was created for shorter films.
In the lists below, the films and people in bold with a gold background are the winners. The others are the nominees. The year shown is when the film was released. The award ceremony usually happens the next year.
