The American Classical Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a special group that celebrates people and places important to classical music. It honors those who have made big contributions to American music. This organization started in 1996. Its first honorees were chosen in 1998.
The main offices and some exhibits are in the Hamilton County Memorial Building. This building is right next to the Cincinnati Music Hall in Cincinnati. The exhibits are not always open to everyone. But you can sometimes see them during events at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. There is also a virtual museum you can visit online.
In 2012, "The Classical Walk of Fame" was opened. It's a path with stones engraved with the names of famous musicians. You can find it in Washington Park, near the Cincinnati Music Hall. If you visit, you can use a mobile app. This app lets you read about the musicians and listen to their music. You can even play classical music through a mobile jukebox. This jukebox makes the park's "dancing fountain" move to the music!

The Hall of Fame chooses new members each year. These members are called "inductees." They are people, groups, or places that have made classical music special in America.
