The Asian Taekwondo Championships are a big competition where the best Taekwondo athletes from across Asia come together to compete. It's like the Olympics, but just for Taekwondo in Asia! This exciting event first happened in South Korea in 1973.
These championships take place every two years. They are organized by the Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU). The ATU is connected to World Taekwondo, which is the main group that organizes and controls Taekwondo as an Olympic sport.
