Badminton Europe (often called BE) is the main group that manages badminton in Europe. Think of it as the boss of badminton for all European countries! It's one of five big groups that work under the Badminton World Federation (BWF), which is the global boss of badminton.
Badminton Europe has 53 countries that are members, plus one associate member. It started a long time ago, on September 27, 1967, in a city called Frankfurt in Germany.
On April 8, 2006, the members had a meeting and decided to change the name. Before that, it was called the European Badminton Union. Now, it's known as Badminton Europe.
