The Hollywood Hills is a well-known neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. It's famous for its beautiful homes and amazing views. This area is part of the Santa Monica Mountains. It's close to other famous places like the Hollywood Sign, the Hollywood Bowl, and Griffith Park. Many people who work in the entertainment industry live here.

Geography and Landscape
The Hollywood Hills are located within the Santa Monica Mountains. A big highway, US 101, cuts through the area.
The neighborhood has clear borders. To the northwest and north, it meets the Los Angeles city line. To the east, it borders Griffith Park and Western Avenue. To the south, it's bordered by Franklin Avenue. The western border is an uneven line that includes Outpost Drive.
The ground in the Hills is made of strong rocks like granite and sandstone. The soil is usually shallow and has many stones.

Who Lives Here?
About 23,000 people live in the Hollywood Hills. It's not a very crowded area compared to other parts of Los Angeles. The average age of people living here is around 37, which is a bit older than in some other neighborhoods.
The Hollywood Hills is a diverse place. Most residents are White, but there are also many people of Latino, Asian, and African American backgrounds. About one-fourth of the people living here were born outside the United States. Many of them came from Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Many households in Hollywood Hills earn a good income. About 56% of the homes are rented, while the rest are owned by the people living in them. It's also a neighborhood with fewer single-parent families compared to the rest of the city.
