Krisia Marinova Todorova (born on June 1, 2004) is a talented Bulgarian singer, composer, and songwriter. She became well-known for her amazing voice and performances.

In 2014, Krisia represented Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta. She performed her song "Planet of the Children" alongside the Hassan and Ibrahim Ignatov twins. They achieved second place in the competition. The next year, she released "Discover", which was the official song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

About Krisia's Early Life

Krisia Todorova was born in Varna on June 1, 2004. She lives in Razgrad with her parents, Marin and Angelina Todorova. She also has two sisters, Tiffany (born 2000) and Marina (born 2009).

Krisia began studying music at six years old. She attended various music schools in Bulgaria. As of July 2025, she continues her music studies at the "Centre for work with Children" in Razgrad. There, she learns from vocal teacher Svilena Decheva, focusing on singing and playing the piano. She also attended "Vasil Levski" Primary School. Since September 15, 2018, she has been a student at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia.

Besides music, Krisia enjoys drawing and dancing, especially classical ballet. Her favorite school subjects include Mathematics, Man And Society, and English. She looks up to singers like Ariana Grande, Lili Ivanova, Lara Fabian, Mariana Popova, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, and Beyoncé.

Krisia Todorova has won seven awards from different music competitions in Bulgaria. Her big break came in 2014 when she appeared on Slavi's Show on bTV. She later became a regular part of the TV show Zapoznaĭ se s malkite (Meet the Kids). Her first performance on the show was on December 30, 2013, where she sang "Listen" by Beyoncé.

In March 2014, Krisia was chosen to sing the national anthem of Bulgaria, Mila Rodino, and Moya Strana, Moya Bălgaria. She performed these songs live in front of 42,000 people at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. This was for the opening of a UEFA Europa League football match.

In November 2014, Krisia, along with the twins Hasan and Ibrahim, represented Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta. Their song was "Planet of the Children". They finished in second place, earning 147 points. After the contest, Krisia was honored by President Rosen Plevneliev. In December 2014, she performed "The Planet of the Children" again at the European Parliament. In March 2016, Krisia was nominated for "Best Female Artist" at the Fab Chart Music Awards in London.
