Power Rangers Mystic Force is a 2006 season of Power Rangers. It tells the exciting story of the Mystic Rangers. They fight against the evil Forces of Darkness who want to control both the human and magic worlds.

Meet the Mystic Rangers

The Mystic Rangers get their amazing powers from beings called the Ancient Titans. These Titans have strong elemental powers. Each Ranger's visor shows a mythological creature that represents their power. These include the phoenix, sprite, garuda, minotaur, and mermaid. This team is unique because they didn't have a special team-up with another Ranger group in their own season.

The Mystic Force Rangers even appeared briefly in Power Rangers Beast Morphers.

Nicolas 'Nick' Russell: The Red Mystic Ranger

Nicolas 'Nick' Russell is the brave Red Mystic Ranger. He also likes Madison. Nick came to Briarwood to live with his sister when evil forces were set free. He was the first to try and rescue an old man's brother in the forest. At first, Nick didn't believe in magic. He didn't think he could be a Ranger.

But after seeing his friends in trouble, he returned to save them. He then accepted his powers and responsibilities. Nick is now very determined and dedicated. He was the first to fight the dark armies even without his powers. He also encouraged his friends to keep fighting the evil Morticon.

Nick works at the Rock-Porium with the other Rangers. He spends his free time fixing his motorcycle. He values his friends deeply, as he never had many before Briarwood. He was the first to befriend Phineas, the troblin. He even offered to surrender to the villain Oculous to save his friends.

Nick was adopted as a baby and didn't know his birth parents. He kept a red blanket from his baby days. Later, it was revealed that Nick is actually Bowen. He is the long-lost son of Leanbow and Udonna. This means he is "The Light," a powerful child meant to defeat the Darkness. He is also the main target for the Ten Terrors.

In the final battle, Nick was taken over by the Master. He became a new Koragg and destroyed villages. He fought his father, Leanbow. Leanbow freed him by refusing to fight. Nick then fought off the spell. He was pushed to his limits when Udonna was captured and his father seemed to die. But Madison convinced him not to give up. He then wounded the Master and led the Rangers to destroy him.

After the battle, Nick, Udonna, and Leanbow rode off on motorcycles. They went to visit Nick's adopted parents. Nick later joined his teammates in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. He was part of a big army of veteran Rangers. They helped the Megaforce Rangers fight the Armada.

As the Red Mystic Ranger, Nick controls fire. He often acts before thinking. He has shown more magic power than he should, like knowing how to seal Morticon. He could also tame Koragg's horse, Catastros. Nick's weapon is the Magi Staff Striker. His vehicles are the Mystic Racer and Mystic Speeder.

His Titan forms include the Mystic Phoenix. He also commands Brightstar. As the Red Legend Warrior, Nick gets the Mystic Lion Staff. This lets him use the Fire Storm spell and become the Mystic Firebird. He can also combine with Fire Heart to become the Red Dragon Fire Ranger. This form is powerful enough to defeat many enemies.

Nick is played by Firass Dirani.

Vida "V" Rocca: The Pink Mystic Ranger

Vida Rocca, or "V," is Madison's sister and the Pink Mystic Ranger. This is funny because she hates the color pink! Vida loves to DJ at the Rock-Porium. She is often filmed by Madison. Vida is very direct and honest. But deep down, she is kind, generous, and loyal. She defended Madison and protected Chip from bullies.

Vida was worried about Xander when he turned into a tree. She actively looked for a cure. Most importantly, Vida figured out that Matoombo wasn't truly evil. She even offered to let him kill her to make him understand his actions. By the end of the series, Vida seemed to like pink. She even dyed her hair that color.

She and her team joined the Megaforce Rangers in Super Megaforce. They battled the Armada.

As the Pink Mystic Ranger, Vida controls wind. She can shapeshift and create giant, butterfly-shaped "Mystical Wings." She often rushes into battle, making her a strong fighter.

She has a Mystic Racer. She can change into the Mystic Sprite. This form becomes the head of the Mystic Dragon. In this form, she can become a ball for others to attack enemies. As the Pink Legend Warrior, Vida gets the Mystic Lion Staff. This allows her to use the Whirlwind spell. It also lets her, Madison, Chip, and Xander become the Mystic Lion.

Vida is played by Angie Diaz.

Charles 'Charlie' "Chip" Thorn: The Yellow Mystic Ranger

Charles 'Charlie' Thorn, known as "Chip," is the "superhero expert." He is a bit quirky because he loves fairy tales. He sometimes gets lost in his imagination. Madison once called him "the perfect example of a non-human species." This was when she filmed him eating a pizza with chicken, pepperoni, cheese, and chocolate marshmallows.

Chip is an excellent archer. He is also a member of the chess club. He is part of COUNTV, which stands for Containment Of Underworld Nocturnal Transylvanian Vampires. Chip is always cheerful and eager to learn about magic. He looked up to Daggeron. After the final battle, he was seen telling made-up stories of his Ranger battles to people from both worlds.

Despite their different personalities, Chip and Vida have been close friends since childhood. When Vida became a vampire, Chip became very serious. He tried to save her, even fighting Koragg and Necrolai alone. He is very passionate about being a Ranger. He took it hard when they failed to save people from Gnatu. He also got angry at Nick for wanting to give up.

He later joined the Ranger army in Super Megaforce. He battled the Warstar Armada with his teammates.

As the Yellow Mystic Ranger, Chip controls lightning. His main weapon is the Magi Staff Crossbow. He has a Mystic Racer. His Titan Form is the Mystic Garuda. This form becomes the wings for both the Mystic Dragon and Titan Megazord. As the Yellow Legend Warrior, Chip gets the Mystic Lion Staff. This lets him use the Lightning Bolt spell. It also lets him join Vida, Madison, and Xander to become the Mystic Lion.

Chip is played by Nic Sampson. He is also the most childlike of the group.

Alexander "Xander" Bly: The Green Mystic Ranger

Alexander "Xander" Bly is from Australia. He now lives in the United States. When he first arrived, he was bullied for his accent. Because of this, he understands people who feel like outsiders. He is a skilled skateboarder and loves to show off. Xander uses his charming smile to get what he wants. When in trouble, he uses "Plan Xander." This is just trying to sweet talk his way out of things. But "Plan Xander" has not worked against Necrolai or other villains.

Xander works at the Rock-Porium. He prefers to tell others what to do instead of working himself. He calls this "supervising." He had some disagreements with Daggeron when Daggeron became their mentor. Xander's overconfidence has gotten him into trouble many times. But his willingness to admit his mistakes has helped him learn new spells. After the final battle, he became the manager of the Rock-Porium.

As the Green Mystic Ranger, Xander controls earth. He can use "Mystic Muscles" to make his muscles huge. His weapon is the Magi Staff Axe. He was the first Mystic Force Ranger to use the Mystic Force Fighters spell. He also has a Mystic Racer. Xander's Titan form is the Mystic Minotaur. This form makes up most of the Mystic Dragon and Titan Megazord. As the Green Legend Warrior, Xander gets the Mystic Lion Staff. This lets him use the Rock Slide spell. It also lets him join Vida, Madison, and Chip to become the Mystic Lion.

Xander appeared in the 15th anniversary special "Once a Ranger" from Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. He was one of five Rangers called by the Sentinel Knight to defend Earth. He later joined the final battle against the Warstar Armada in Super Megaforce.

Xander is played by Richard Brancatisano.

Madison "Maddie" Rocca: The Blue Mystic Ranger

Madison Rocca, or "Maddie," is Vida's sister. She is also Nick's love interest. Madison calls herself "the sister with common sense." She loves making films and uses her video camera to express herself. Because of this, some people tease her for "hiding" behind her camera. Madison is studious and shy. She doesn't usually have fun in typical ways.

Despite this, she is one of the most open and friendly Rangers. She was the first to reach out to Nick. She also convinced a grumpy Jenji to come home. She used to be afraid of frogs. But she overcame this fear when she kissed a frog that saved her. The frog turned into Daggeron, the Solaris Knight. Madison sometimes worries she isn't important to the team. But she has a strong desire to protect people. This kept her fighting Magma when the others fell. When Nick wanted to give up, Madison told him they needed to keep fighting. It is clear she and Nick have feelings for each other. At the end of the series, Nick left her his baby blanket and promised to return for it.

As the Blue Mystic Ranger, Madison controls water. She isn't usually the first to attack. But she is a skilled fighter. Her main weapon is her Magi Staff. She also has a Mystic Racer. She can morph into the Mystic Mermaid. As the Blue Legend Warrior, Madison gets the Mystic Lion Staff. This lets her use the Tidal Wave spell. It also lets her, Vida, Chip, and Xander become the Mystic Lion.

She and the other Mystic Rangers later joined the veteran Rangers in Super Megaforce.

Madison is played by Melanie Vallejo.

Daggeron: The Solaris Knight

Daggeron is a strong, wise, and fair warrior. He was trained by Leanbow. During the Great Battle, he was supposed to take baby Nick/Bowen to safety. But he was attacked by Calindor. Both were cursed and sealed in a cave for 19 years. Daggeron was turned into a frog. When Madison kissed the frog, Daggeron became human again.

Udonna asked him to train the Mystic Rangers. He taught them in a tough but fair way. Daggeron is also a powerful wizard, as strong as Imperious. He is one of the few warriors to defeat Koragg in a one-on-one fight.

Daggeron and Imperious are bitter enemies because of their past. Daggeron fought Imperious in a special dimension. Imperious cheated and stole Daggeron's power. He seemed to destroy Daggeron. But thanks to Jenji, Daggeron survived. He rode the magical unicorn, Brightstar, to help the Rangers. He then defeated Imperious for good.

When Udonna left to find Leanbow, Daggeron oversaw the Rangers. He gained a new enemy in Megahorn of the Ten Terrors. Daggeron was almost killed by Megahorn. But he later helped defeat him. Daggeron was killed by the Master in the final battle. But Necrolai brought him back to life.

Daggeron later joined his students in the final battle against the Warstar Armada in Super Megaforce.

As the Solaris Knight, Daggeron uses the power of the Sun. He has a cat-like genie named Jenji. In battle, he can turn Jenji's lamp into a blaster called the Solaris Laser Lamp. This blaster always hits its target. It can also launch Jenji in a bright stream of light for a finishing move called the "Jenji Shining Attack." Daggeron flies the Solar Streak train, which can become the Solar Streak Megazord. He uses a Magic Carpet to travel around Briarwood. Daggeron also has an Ancient Mystic Mode, like Leanbow. He used it to defeat Imperious.

Daggeron is played by John Tui.

Udonna: The White Mystic Ranger

Peta Rutter
Peta Rutter as Udonna.

Udonna is the White Mystic Ranger. She was a powerful sorceress. Her people fought in the Great Battle against the forces of darkness. The evil forces were sent to the Underworld. Udonna lost many friends and her family in this battle. Her sister Niella sealed the Underworld, giving up her life. Her husband Leanbow was left inside, fighting the enemy. Her baby son Bowen went missing.

After this, Udonna prepared for the return of evil. She built Rootcore deep in the forest near Briarwood. When an earthquake broke the seal, she recruited the five Mystic Rangers and gave them their powers.

As the White Mystic Ranger, Udonna controls snow. She can become a giant version of herself. But she was defeated by Koragg, who stole her Snow Staff and Ranger powers. She now mentors the Rangers and her niece, Clare. Clare became the Gatekeeper of the Underworld after her mother's death.

Udonna later found out that Bowen was alive and was taken to the human world by Phineas. She then discovered that Nick is Bowen. Udonna was captured and held prisoner in the Underworld. She used her Snow Staff's energy to help the Rangers fight Morticon. Koragg stopped her from getting her staff back. Udonna felt pity for Koragg and teleported out of the Underworld.

When the Rangers went to the Underworld, Udonna used dark magic to save them. This made her lose her magic. She was badly hurt by the Master. But Koragg saved her. He was then revealed to be Leanbow. Udonna was sad when Leanbow turned back into Koragg. But finding out Nick was Bowen gave her hope. She freed Leanbow again. She believed Leanbow was still alive and left to find him with Clare.

Hekatoid, one of the Ten Terrors, kidnapped Udonna. Leelee, Clare, and Phineas snuck into the Underworld to rescue her. Leelee had stolen the Snow Staff from her mother. The trio used it to revive Udonna. Udonna, now morphed and with her magic back, helped the Rangers defeat Hekatoid.

In the finale, Udonna fought Sculpin. She was rescued by Necrolai and Itassis. She helped the Rangers destroy the Master. In the end, she rode off with her husband and son to visit Nick's adopted parents.

Udonna was played by Peta Rutter.

Leanbow: The Wolf Warrior

Leanbow is Udonna's husband and Nick's father. He was also Daggeron's mentor. He was known for his honor. As a Mystic, he can use "Ancient Mystic Mode." This looks like a fiery red and purple demon with a sword and shield. Twenty years before the series, Leanbow led the Mystics in the Great Battle. They fought the Supreme Master of the Underworld. Leanbow personally fought Morticon. To stop the evil forces from escaping, he held them back at the Gate. Niella, the Gatekeeper, sealed the Gate, sacrificing her life and trapping Leanbow inside.

Everyone thought Leanbow was lost forever. But he had survived and sealed the Master. Before he fell, the Master turned Leanbow into his loyal minion, Koragg. Koragg didn't remember his past. But he kept Leanbow's honor. He refused to destroy weaker foes. He also tamed the wild horse Catastros. Catastros became Koragg's personal Zord. It allowed him to form the Centaurus Wolf Megazord.

Koragg was the first villain released when the Underworld seal broke. He defeated Udonna and stole her Snow Staff. But he spared her life. Koragg often fought with Morticon for power. He showed disrespect for Necrolai. He bowed only to the Master. He was a loyal servant to the Master and a constant enemy for the Rangers. The Master gave Koragg more power every day.

When Imperious sent the Rangers to the Underworld, Udonna was attacked by the Master. Koragg saved her. He then revealed himself to be Leanbow. He transported everyone out of the Underworld. Nick didn't trust him at first. Leanbow explained how the Master turned him into Koragg. He regained his memory after absorbing a virus. Leanbow was taken back to the Underworld and became Koragg again. He was about to kill Nick when Udonna revealed Nick was their son, Bowen. This freed Leanbow from the spell. The Master began to rise. Leanbow sacrificed himself to seal the Master again. He seemed to destroy himself and most of the Underworld.

Udonna believed he would return. She went on a quest to find him. Sculpin, a villain, found that Leanbow was preventing the Master's return. Leanbow wore Koragg's armor but fought for good. He said, "I wear the armor of Koragg, but my heart is that of Leanbow."

Sculpin tried to make Leanbow leave his post. He showed images of Megahorn's destruction. Leanbow refused until Sculpin sent Black Lance to help Megahorn. Leanbow appeared as the Knight Wolf Centaur. He fought Black Lance. Leanbow destroyed Black Lance's chariot. He then transformed into the Centaurus Wolf Megazord. Necrolai planted a fish scale on him. Leanbow returned to the Underworld, dragging Black Lance with him. He told the Rangers he was proud of them.

In "Light Source," Leanbow hid in the Underworld. Necrolai found him and told Sculpin. Sculpin, Gekkor, and Matoombo fought Leanbow. Gekkor fought first. Leanbow wounded him. Matoombo then fought Leanbow, breaking his shield. Sculpin stabbed Leanbow and took the Master's spirit. Leanbow fell into a fissure.

In "The Return," Udonna revived Leanbow. Leanbow joined the Rangers. He used a new red Morpher and became the Wolf Warrior. He quickly defeated Gekkor.

Leanbow had to face Koragg again when the Master possessed Nick. Leanbow fought his son, destroying Rootcore. He freed Nick by demorphing and letting himself be killed. He then went with Daggeron to the Mystic Realm to fight the Master. He was killed again. Necrolai revived him. He joined the final battle and helped defeat the Master. Afterward, Leanbow, Udonna, and Nick left to visit Nick's adopted parents.

Leanbow was played by Chris Graham and Geoffrey Dolan.

Friends of the Power Rangers

The Ancient Titans

The Ancient Titans are powerful beings. They are the source of the Mystic Rangers' powers. They appear during the Rangers' morphing sequence. They also appear when the Titan Megazord uses its "Titans Attack."

The Ancient Mystic Titans are linked to mythological creatures:

  • The Blue Ancient Titan is the Mermaid. It represents water. It looks like a mermaid with four fin-like legs.

Ancient Mystic Mode

The Snow Prince and the Mystic Mother also seem to be Ancient Mystic Titans. Four other characters have forms called "Ancient Mystic Modes."

  • The Gatekeepers (Clare and her mother Niella) have an Ancient Mystic Mode called the Shining Moon Warrior. This form gets power from the moon.
  • Calindor had an Ancient Mystic Mode before he became Imperious. It looked like a creature with lightning bolt wings.
  • Daggeron's Ancient Mystic Mode represents the sun. It looks like a golden being with wing-like parts. He used it to fight Imperious and Megahorn.
  • Leanbow's Ancient Mystic Mode is a red and purple fiery demon. It has a purple cape, a jagged sword, and a shield.

Niella

Niella was the Gatekeeper of the Underworld. She was Udonna's sister and Nick's aunt. She sacrificed herself to seal the Gate. Only her daughter Clare remains. Niella also had the "Shining Moon Warrior" form. Clare used to think she wasn't as good at magic as her mother. But Udonna said Niella was clumsy when she started too.

The Snow Prince

The Snow Prince is an Ancient Mystic Titan. He might be the source of Udonna's powers. He used to mentor all the Mystics, including Leanbow. He lives in a parallel dimension called "The North."

He once let Nick teach Daggeron. This was to help Daggeron learn to follow his instincts. The Snow Prince also helped the Rangers fight Megahorn. He was a good fighter. But his powers were weaker in our dimension. He used a spell to pull Megahorn into his dimension. After Daggeron learned his lesson, the Snow Prince let him join the fight. He then returned to his dimension.

In the finale, he was sent back to the human world by the Mystic Mother. He was badly hurt. He warned them of danger.

The Snow Prince is voiced by Paolo Rotondo.

The Mystic Mother

The Mystic Mother is the "Empress of All Good Magic." She is a huge Ancient Titan-like being. She rules the Magic World. She first appeared in the finale, "Mystic Fate." Udonna said that in the past, the Mystic Mother was known as Rita. She turned good after Zordon's Energy Wave. The Mother herself said she knew "the weakness of Evil." She was overwhelmed by the Master. She seemed to die. But she secretly escaped. She made Clare a "full" sorceress. She is calm but powerful.

She is voiced by Susan Brady.

The Mystics

The Mystics were five warriors who fought in the Great Battle. Each had a color and elemental power. Leanbow was the Red Mystic. The names of the Pink, Yellow, Green, and Blue Mystics are unknown. It seems all but Leanbow died in the battle. The Power Rangers likely replaced them for the second Great Battle.

Viewers saw the Mystics in "Heir Apparent, Part I." Leanbow was Red. The Yellow and Green Mystics were men. The Blue and Pink Mystics were women.

Clare Langtree: The Gatekeeper

Clare Langtree is a human sorceress in training. She is quirky, clumsy, and often makes mistakes. But she never gives up. She is Udonna's niece and apprentice. She used to think she was worse at magic than her mother, Niella. But she learned that her mother was just as clumsy when she started.

Clare was first a funny character. Her bad spellcasting was a running joke. Later, it was revealed she was the next Gatekeeper. Her mother died sealing the Morlocks in the Underworld. As the Gatekeeper's daughter, Clare was the only one who could undo the seal. Udonna promised to protect her. But Morticon forced Clare to inherit the powers early.

Wearing a magical tiara, Clare became brave and powerful. She fought evil to rescue Udonna. She weakened Necrolai. But she struggled against Koragg. She was used to unlock the Underworld gate. With Nick's help, she broke free. She used the last of the tiara's powers to seal the gate again.

Even without the Gatekeeper powers, she is an important friend to the Rangers. She keeps working on her magic. She hatched the baby Fire Heart. It thought she was its mother. She took care of it. Even when Fire Heart grew huge, Clare still cared for it.

Since Udonna lost her powers, Clare has become a better sorceress. She joined Udonna to find Leanbow. Hekatoid kidnapped Udonna. Clare, Phineas, and Leelee went to the Underworld to rescue her. Leelee had the Snow Staff. They used it to revive Udonna.

In the final battle, the Mystic Mother gave Clare the power of a Sorceress. After Udonna left, Clare became the new Sorceress of Rootcore. She successfully performed a vanishing spell she couldn't do before.

Clare is played by Antonia Prebble.

Toby Slambrook

Toby Slambrook owns the "Rock Porium" music store in Briarwood. He employs the five main Rangers. He doesn't know they are Power Rangers. He sometimes helps them fight evil without realizing it. He gives them funny advice. He is known for his music knowledge. He is also a fan of "Jake Bonebreaker." Toby seems slow-witted. But he is good at solving puzzles. He is also easily distracted by riddles. He often interacts with the magical world without knowing it. He was the only one who heard the Solar Streak's engine. He also solved the puzzle to find the Fire Heart.

When Imperious created a world without Power Rangers, Toby secretly kept a music box. Necrolai caught him. Nick led the Rangers to fight back. This convinced the Tribunal of Magic to restore the Rangers' powers.

Toby became suspicious of his employees' disappearances. He hired Leelee. Later, the Rangers were ready to tell him their secret. But Hekatoid had stolen their powers. Toby didn't believe them. He said the "real" Power Rangers would handle it. He finally saw them morph after they got their powers back. By "The Return," he knew about the Rangers' mission.

Toby hired Phineas to work at his shop. But Phineas's looks scared customers. Toby had to let him go. In the final battle, Toby convinced the humans of Briarwood that the forest spirits were not enemies. He said they shared a common foe: the Master. The faith of both groups brought back the Rangers' magic. This allowed them to defeat the Master.

After the battle, Toby rehired Phineas. He also hired a revived Matoombo and other spirits. He started dating a human-looking Necrolai.

Toby is played by Barnie Duncan.

Phineas

Phineas is a Troblin, half-troll, half-goblin. He lives in the magical woods outside Briarwood. He was rejected by humans, spirits, trolls, and goblins.

He first saved Clare from the Hydra Worm. He later met Nick and became his friend. Phineas told Nick that Necrolai and Koragg served a greater evil. He befriended the other Rangers. He helped them find the Fire Heart. He showed impressive acrobatic skills.

Phineas went to a dentist with Toby. He had 83 teeth, some not his own. He became a fan of rock music. Phineas is clumsy and has a dry sense of humor. But he is also cunning.

Phineas was present during the war between the Mystics and the Underworld. He saw Calindor betray Daggeron. He later admitted he took Udonna's baby Bowen to the human world for safety.

In "Dark Wish," Phineas found Koragg. He tried to give a eulogy for the dark knight. Koragg, injured, asked Phineas for help. Phineas reluctantly agreed. When Imperious created a world without Power Rangers, Koragg and Phineas were allies. Koragg told Phineas about the Mystic Warriors. Koragg sent the Rangers to the Tribunal of Magic. He then broke his alliance with Phineas.

Later, Phineas told Nick that he was "The Light." He saved Nick from Oculous. He convinced Nick not to give up.

In "Light Source," Phineas met Leelee. He felt for her outcast status. Leelee decided to rescue Udonna. Phineas joined her. They met Clare. The three infiltrated the cave where Udonna was held. Phineas defeated foot soldiers alone, showing his strength. They used the Snow Staff to revive Udonna. They became fast friends.

In "The Return," Phineas brought flowers for Leelee. He got a temporary job at the Rock Porium. But his appearance scared customers. Toby had to let him go. In the final battle, Phineas gathered the forest creatures. He convinced them that humans were not their enemy. He said the Master was the real threat. Their combined faith brought back the Rangers' magic. Phineas was later hired by the Rock Porium again.

Phineas is played by Kelson Henderson.

Fire Heart

The Fire Heart was an item sought by both Rangers and villains. The Rangers found it. Udonna revealed it was the last Dragon egg. A book said it could be hatched by a hammer. But Clare didn't like that idea. Jenji said it needed to be sat on. Clare did this. When the dragon hatched, it called her "Mama." She nursed him.

In "Ranger Down," Jenji abandoned Fire Heart out of jealousy. Phineas found him and cared for him. He even named him "Phineas Jr." or "P.J." Fire Heart called Phineas "Daddy." Fire Heart grew to a massive adult size. He considers both Clare and Phineas his parents.

When Imperious created a world without Power Rangers, Koragg found the egg. The dragon didn't recognize the Rangers. Koragg tamed it and convinced it to work with the Rangers. Fire Heart could enter the Tribunal of Magic's dimension. He defeated Necrolai in an aerial battle. When the timeline was restored, Fire Heart worked with the Rangers as usual.

In "The Hunter," Fire Heart combined with Nick's Legend Warrior Mode. This formed the Red Dragon Fire Ranger.

Fire Heart is referenced in Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive. A dragon scale from him was used for the Defender Vest.

Jenji

Jenji is a powerful, fast-talking, cat-like genie. He is the Mystic Force Rangers' mascot. He is an old friend of Udonna and the other Mystics.

Long ago, Jenji was the most popular cat in his land. The Cat King, Rexigan, was jealous. He had a witch cast a spell. Everyone believed Jenji was evil, and he was banished. Daggeron found Jenji. Jenji opened a mystical box that was a trap. Daggeron saved him by putting him in a lamp. This turned Jenji into a wish-granting genie. He is bound to the lamp. He can only be free for two hours. After that, he starts to turn to dust. He can be saved if he returns to his lamp in time.

Daggeron used Jenji's lamp to seal himself and Calindor. The Rangers found the lamp and broke the seal. Jenji is a bit cowardly. But he overcame his fear of Imperious. He can grow to a huge size. He can also turn into an energetic form for Daggeron's "Jenji Shining Attack." Jenji is a skilled fighter. He uses his claws and a "Super Cat Attack." Jenji is very needy for affection. He was jealous of Fire Heart.

In "Dark Wish," the Rangers wanted to use Jenji. Daggeron eventually used Jenji's Shining Attack. But Fightoe captured Jenji. Imperious released him. Jenji was forced to grant Imperious's wish: that the Mystic Force Power Rangers never existed. This allowed evil to conquer the world. The Tribunal of Magic reversed the wish. Leelee found Jenji's lamp. She wished she had never bitten her fingernails. Jenji granted it, making her nails grow very long. He then fled to Rootcore.

Jenji was turned to stone by Serpentina. He returned to normal when she was destroyed. He oversaw the "Bound Battle" between Imperious and Daggeron. Jenji was briefly killed by Sculpin. But he was brought back to life with Daggeron.

Jenji is voiced by Oliver Driver.

The Tribunal of Magic

The Tribunal of Magic is a group of three powerful, cloaked beings. The Rangers visited them in the "Dark Wish" story. They ensure magic exists. They live in a separate dimension.

  • The red-cloaked member is calm and understanding.
  • The black-cloaked member is hotheaded.
  • The white-cloaked member is compassionate and curious.

The Rangers begged the Tribunal to reverse Imperious's wish. They wanted color and good magic back. The Tribunal refused at first. They sent the Rangers back to their altered world. When Toby was taken by monsters, the Rangers fought back. The Tribunal saw their courage. They decided to restore the world. The Rangers continued fighting. But they were defeated. The Tribunal realized the Rangers had taken magic for granted. They rewarded them with the spell code for Legend Mode. This allowed the Mystic Rangers to become the Legend Warriors.

The red Tribunal member was voiced by Michael Morrisey. The black Tribunal member was voiced by Stuart Devenie. The white Tribunal member was voiced by Elizabeth McRae.

Leelee Pimvare

Leelee Pimvare is Necrolai's teenage daughter. She used to shop at Rock-Porium. She later became an employee there. She was part of the Morlocks for most of the season. But she later left them for a normal life. Her father was turned into a worm by Necrolai.

It's unclear if she's a vampire, but she looks human. She is a skilled fighter, perhaps as good as her mother. Necrolai hinted that Leelee became soft from being with humans. Leelee is selfish and often causes trouble. She tried to frame Nick for theft. She also lured Vida to Flytrap's club to turn her into a vampire. Leelee seems to have a difficult relationship with her mother. Necrolai forced her to enter a cave and turned her into a bug. Despite this, Leelee seems to love her mother. She is also a bit clumsy, like when she released Jenji.

In "Heir Apparent," the Rangers found out she was with the Forces of Darkness. She wanted to keep the Rangers as "pets." But she also worried about them. Her mother became interested in the Book of Prophecy. Leelee decided to leave her evil ways. She wanted to make friends. She left the Underworld to work at the Rock Porium. The Rangers didn't trust her at first. But she proved to be a hard worker. She promised to keep their secret if they kept hers.

In "The Hunter," Leelee was named "employee of the month."

In "Hard Heads," Leelee felt lonely. She read the Book of Prophecy. She was horrified to learn she would become "Queen of the Vampires."

In "Light Source," she defied her mother and her destiny. Leelee helped Clare and Phineas enter the Underworld to find Udonna. They freed Udonna and energized her with the Snow Staff. Leelee was finally accepted as a friend by the Rangers. In "The Return," Leelee confirmed she was dating Phineas.

In "Mystic Fate," her mother turned good to protect her. They moved into a condo. Phineas remained Leelee's boyfriend.

Leelee is played by Holly Shanahan.

Forces of Darkness

The Forces of Darkness are demonic villains from Mystic Force. They live underground. They were also called the Morlocks in some materials. They tried to take over the magical world and then the human world. Leanbow banished them to the Underworld. He sealed them there. Years later, the seal broke. They continued their plan.

All members of the Forces of Darkness appear in footage from Mahou Sentai Magiranger.

Morticon

Morticon was the former general and leader of the dark army. He looks like an undead cyborg. His body is fused with machinery. He uses a mystical portal to see the world. His sword is made from one of the Master's fangs. He is incredibly strong. He can throw the Mystic Dragon with one arm. He thinks he is the Most Powerful Warrior of All Time.

He couldn't leave the Pit at first. Koragg's magic wasn't strong enough. He briefly broke through in giant form. But Nick quickly imprisoned him again. Morticon had a short temper. He wanted out of the Underworld badly. He often attacked Koragg. He also blasted a Styxoid once. He could be very scary to Necrolai. He and Koragg never got along.

He was freed again in "The Gatekeeper" Pt. II. He was very powerful in his giant form. He easily defeated the Titan Megazord. He was eventually destroyed by the Titan Megazord with Udonna's help. Only his sword remained. Koragg found it and claimed it.

Morticon was voiced by Andrew Robertt.

Imperious / Calindor

Imperious called himself the Dark Wizard of the Underworld. He used magic for his own selfish desires. He was once a friend of the Mystics named Calindor. He betrayed them and tried to take baby Bowen to the Underworld. He fought Daggeron. Both were cursed and sealed in a cave. Nineteen years later, Necrolai tricked the Rangers into breaking the seal. She found Calindor's mummy. The Master brought him back to life as the mummy-like Imperious. He became the new leader of the Underworld. Imperious was easily annoyed by Leelee. He turned her into an insect. He could summon monsters from the Underworld. He focused on direct attacks on Briarwood.

In "Long Ago," Imperious pretended to be Calindor. He tried to poison Udonna and frame Daggeron. But Clare figured out his true nature. Daggeron stopped him from stealing the Xenotome. After that, he saw Daggeron as a rival.

Imperious dared Koragg to fight without magic. Koragg agreed. His magic was given to Necrolai. Imperious planned to destroy the Master and rule alone. He released the Four Barbarian Beasts. He sent them to wear down the Rangers. He secretly sent Fightoe and 50-Below to take out Koragg. He knew the Rangers would summon Jenji. Fightoe captured Jenji. Imperious used Jenji's power to wish for a world without good magic. This made the Rangers powerless. The forces of darkness conquered the world. Rootcore was destroyed. Music was outlawed. But Koragg survived. He helped the Rangers reach the Tribunal of Magic. They reversed Jenji's wish. Imperious then destroyed Fightoe and used his soul to power Ursus.

Imperious tried to convince the Master that Koragg was a traitor. But he failed. He decided to gain the Master's favor. He planned to raise the Master from the Underworld using the Rangers' Legend powers. He separated Daggeron from the Rangers. He created the Chimera to drag the Rangers to the Underworld. Udonna and Leanbow saved the Rangers. But the Master was still rising. Daggeron survived. Imperious challenged him to a bound battle. They would be chained and fight with swords. Imperious cheated. But Daggeron won and fatally wounded him. Imperious turned back into Calindor. He then dissolved into dust. He hinted at the coming of the Ten Terrors.

Imperious is a skilled and powerful fighter. He is also very arrogant. He uses both physical strength and magic. He can use forbidden magic. He can also free banished monsters. He carries a folding fan that he uses as a weapon. He can grow to a huge size. He easily defeated the Rangers at first. He could return to his Calindor form at will. In his Ancient Mystic Mode, he used a Mystic Sword.

Calindor was played by Will Hall. Imperious was voiced by Stuart Devenie.

Koragg the Knight Wolf

Koragg the Knight Wolf is an armored wolf-themed warrior. He is loyal to the Supreme Master of the Underworld. He is like a werewolf. The person he possesses has a Jekyll and Hyde personality.

  • The first person he possessed was Leanbow.
  • The second was Nick. The Master used Nick to attack villages. Leanbow freed Nick from Koragg.

In Power Rangers Beast Morphers, Ryjack had Koragg's sword. Scrozzle suggested reviving him. But Robo-Roxy mentioned Leanbow turned good.

Koragg the Knight Wolf is voiced by Geoffrey Dolan. He is played by Chris Graham (as Leanbow) and Firass Dirani (as Nick).

Necrolai/Nikki

Necrolai is the Dark Mistress of the Underworld and Queen of the Vampires. She is an evil spy. Koragg and Morticon often disrespect her. She can fly. She usually scouts for Morticon. Necrolai is a strong fighter. She has battled the Rangers. She is not affected by garlic or sunlight. She was once destroyed but reassembled herself. She fears Morticon and Koragg. This explains why she tolerates their behavior. She showed true fear when Morticon threatened her. After Morticon's destruction, she brought Calindor's mummy to the Underworld. This released Imperious.

Necrolai is ambitious and self-centered. She does things for her own benefit. She wants to gain power. She is a capable fighter. She can hold her own against the entire Mystic Ranger team. She rarely gets hit in battle.

Necrolai is also Leelee's mother. She rarely mentions Leelee's father. She claimed she turned him into a worm. Necrolai seems to care little for her daughter. She didn't help Leelee when Imperious turned her into a bug. Necrolai herself turned Leelee into a bug to test powers. Despite this, Leelee seems to love her mother. Necrolai had a small panic attack when Morticon died. She tried to flatter Imperious.

In "Ranger Down," Necrolai got Koragg's magic. But Koragg took it back.

After Leanbow freed the Rangers, Imperious weakened him. Necrolai captured Leanbow. She brought him back to the pit. The Master turned him into Koragg again.

After the Pit and Imperious were destroyed, Necrolai had doubts. But finding the Book of Prophecy changed her mind. She ignored her daughter. She followed the book's instructions. She provoked the Ten Terrors to attack the surface. She now appears with Gekkor.

Necrolai placed a scale on Leanbow. Sculpin gave it to her. This allowed the Ten Terrors to track Leanbow. They extracted the Master's essence from him.

Necrolai seems to feel inferior to the Ten Terrors. She fears them. She obeys them out of fear.

In "Mystic Fate," it was revealed Necrolai does care about Leelee. She begged Itassis not to destroy Leelee. Sculpin demanded Leelee die. Necrolai then betrayed the Master. She revived Itassis, Leanbow, Daggeron, and Jenji. In doing so, she became human.

After the battle, she started dating Toby. She was called "Nikki." She and Leelee moved into a condo.

Necrolai was voiced by Donogh Rees. Nikki, her human form, was played by Brigitte Berger but voiced by Donogh Rees.

Octomus: The Master of the Underworld

The Supreme Master of the Underworld (also called Octomus) is the main villain of Mystic Force. He is the true leader of the Forces of Darkness. His minions worship him. He contacts them through a white pool in their lair. It turns red when he is present. His true form is a huge Cthulhu-like demon. It has a skull face, many tentacles, and dragon heads. Usually, only his right eye is seen. His other eye is in Koragg's shield. One of his fangs made Morticon's sword. Some of his claws might have become Necrolai's "Claws of the Master."

Leanbow sealed him in his Pit after the Great War. But the Master turned Leanbow into Koragg. He also dragged Catastros to the Underworld. The Forces of Darkness want to free their Master.

The Master often stopped his minions from fighting. He sided with Koragg in a trial. He also created Imperious from Calindor's mummy.

Imperious tried to gain the Master's favor. He suggested feeding him the Rangers' Legend Warrior powers. This would let the Master enter the surface world. But Udonna interfered. Koragg stopped the Master and turned back into Leanbow. The Master partly emerged. Leanbow sacrificed himself, seemingly destroying himself and the Master. But the Ten Terrors believed they could revive him.

In "Hard Heads," Sculpin learned that Leanbow was preventing the Master's return. Sculpin found Leanbow and extracted the Master's spirit. He gave it to Gekkor. In "The Return," the Master chose Matoombo as his new body. He hatched from Matoombo's body. He melted and molded it into a skeletal fallen angel-like beast. He had a skull face, a black mask, and many tentacles.

In "Mystic Fate," the Master possessed Nick Russell. He turned Nick into a new, cruel Koragg. This new Koragg destroyed parts of the forest and Rootcore. While the Rangers were busy, the Master went to the Mystic Realm. He seemed to destroy the Mystic Mother. He then devoured Leanbow and Daggeron's powers and killed them. He attacked Briarwood. He showed the Rangers a vision of Earth's destruction. He devastated the Manticore Megazord.

His victory seemed certain. Nick wounded him. The Rangers were sent back to the real world. But they lost their magic. The Master was defeated when Itassis and Necrolai betrayed him. The Mystic Mother was alive. The people of Briarwood and the forest creatures united. The Rangers regained their magic from people's belief. They overloaded the Master with good magic, destroying him.

The Master was voiced by John Leigh in his second form.

The Ten Terrors

The Ten Terrors of the Underworld are ten powerful, god-like demons/monsters. They were thought to exist only in nightmares. Necrolai found them in "The Light." They live in the Lower Sanctum of the Underworld. They are usually giant. But they can change their size. They strictly follow the Laws of Darkness. They will kill each other for breaking these rules. Their main rule is to punish those who oppose dark magic. They appeared on Earth to show their power. Each has a different weapon.

In their lair, there is a giant stone monolith called the Stone of Judgment. It chooses who will punish Earth next. In "Mystic Fate," the Master destroyed it. They wait for their Master's return. They easily defeated the Rangers at first. But they were less successful in individual attacks. Most Terrors were destroyed. Only Itassis and Matoombo survived. They both turned good.

Magma was the first of the Ten Terrors to fight the Mystic Force Power Rangers. He was an Ifrit (a fire genie). He used a club with a ball and chain. He could shoot fire and spiral blasts from his chest. He could create a heat shield. He was durable. He lit a radio tower to show how much time humans had. He offered to play a game. If one Ranger stood when the tower burned, they won. Magma easily beat the Rangers. But Madison's passion made her use a Tidal Wave attack. This hurt Magma. He grew giant. She tried to consume Nick and Vida. But Itassis intervened. She reversed Hekatoid's spell. Nick defeated Serpentina with his Battilizer. She spit out the Rangers. She grew giant and summoned snakes. Daggeron used the Solar Streak Megazord to suck up her shield. Her snakes vanished. The Rangers destroyed Serpentina. She warned them that Megahorn would avenge her. The spell on Jenji was lifted.

He broke free from the dimension. Daggeron arrived and fought Megahorn. He targeted Megahorn's weak spot. He temporarily defeated him. Megahorn grew giant. Sculpin sent Black Lance to help him. Black Lance was sent back by Leanbow. Daggeron continued fighting Megahorn in the Solar Streak Megazord. The Manticore Megazord struck Megahorn's neck. Then they fought evil versions of themselves. He refused to give up Udonna. Their battle went to the surface. He stole their morphing ability. He fled. He fought Daggeron as a giant.
