Turner County Jail

Wesleyan Methodist Campground and Tabernacle

This unique site is located at 321 Gordon Street in Ashburn. A "campground" like this was often used for religious gatherings and meetings, especially in the past. The "tabernacle" is usually a large open-air building used for these events. It was listed on the NRHP on December 12, 1998.
