How Disney XD Reached Different Countries
Disney XD Latin America was set up to reach different countries. It had five special versions, called "feeds." These feeds showed programs in Spanish for most of Latin America and in Portuguese for Brazil.
- Mexican feed: This version was made just for Mexico. It used the time zone of Central Mexico.
- Andean feed: This version covered many countries. These included Colombia, Venezuela, Central America, the Caribbean, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia. It used the Colombian time zone.
- South feed: This version broadcasted in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It used the Argentine time for its show schedules.
- Brazil feed: This version was specifically for Brazil. All its shows were in Brazilian Portuguese.
Over time, the channel changed how it delivered its programs. For example, there used to be a "Disney XD Pacific" feed. This feed covered Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia starting in 2010. But in 2017, it changed to just show programs at a different time than the South feed. Later, the South timeshift channel joined with the Panregional feed. This created the Andean feed we know today.
