List of valleys of Arizona facts for kids
Arizona is a state in the southwestern United States known for its amazing landscapes. It has many different landforms, including deserts, mountains, and, of course, valleys! A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains, often with a river or stream flowing through it. Valleys are usually formed by the action of water or glaciers carving out the land over millions of years.
This article lists many of the important valleys found across Arizona. They are organized by the county they are in, and then alphabetically within each county. You'll see that some valleys are mentioned in more than one county because they are very large and stretch across different areas.
