The Sint Maarten national football team (Dutch: Sint Maartens voetbalelftal) represents Sint Maarten in soccer. Sint Maarten is the Dutch part of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. The team is managed by the Sint Maarten Football Federation.
Sint Maarten is not a member of FIFA. This means they cannot play in the World Cup. The association tried to join FIFA in 2016 but was not accepted. In 2022, they asked the CAS to review FIFA's decision.
In 2002, the Sint Maarten Soccer Association became an associate member of CONCACAF. They became full members in 2013. This happened after Sint Maarten became an independent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2010. They are also part of the Caribbean Football Union. They first played in the Caribbean Cup in 1989.

Team History and Comeback
From 1992 to 2016, the Sint Maarten team played very few official matches. Between 2000 and 2016, they played only one unofficial game. This was a 2–2 draw against Sint Eustatius in 2004.
The team's president, Owen Nickie, said in 2012 that they were not playing because their home stadium needed repairs. He also mentioned that finding enough players was a problem before. However, by 2012, they had plenty of players. The team planned to host the Leeward Islands Tournament and join the 2012 Caribbean Cup qualification.
In 2014, Sint Maarten was supposed to co-host the Leeward Islands Tournament. But they had to pull out because of issues with the new lights at their stadium. In 2015, a special match was held to pick players for the national team. Even though the senior team was not very active, their youth team played in the first CONCACAF Under-15 Championship in 2013. Sint Maarten also helped host the 2015 CFU Boy's Under-15 Championship.
Return to International Games
Sint Maarten started playing international football again in 2016. They entered the 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification. They were in a group with Grenada and the US Virgin Islands. These matches took place in March 2016. It had been 19 years since Sint Maarten played in a senior CFU competition.
Before the tournament, Sint Maarten played a friendly match against Anguilla on March 13, 2016. They won 2–0. Joost Röben scored both goals. In their first tournament match, Sint Maarten played Grenada. They lost 5–0. Later, they lost to the US Virgin Islands 2–1. This ended their qualifying journey. Ramsleii Boelijn scored Sint Maarten's only goal in that game.
Home Stadium
Sint Maarten plays its home matches at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex. This stadium is in Philipsburg. It can hold 3,000 fans. The stadium is named after Raoul Illidge. He was a local person who helped pay for the stadium's planning and construction.
The complex was closed for repairs in July 2013. The renovations included a new running track, a better drainage system, and artificial turf. They also repainted the light poles and installed brighter lights. The buildings at the complex were also renovated. The Dutch funding agency Usona and the Sint Maarten government paid for the repairs. The stadium officially reopened on March 7, 2014.
