Kickboxing Journey
Starting with SUPERKOMBAT
In November 2010, SUPERKOMBAT announced they had signed Andrei Stoica. His younger brother Bogdan also joined. The chairman, Eduard Irimia, believed they could become top fighters.
On February 25, 2012, Stoica fought Redouan Cairo again. This was at the SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix I in Podgorica, Montenegro. The fight was first announced as a win for Stoica. However, officials later changed it to a no contest. This was because the judges actually scored it a draw.
He then faced Toni Milanović on October 20, 2012. This fight was in Arad, Romania. Stoica won against the Croatian fighter by a split decision.
Stoica was set to fight Zabit Samedov for the first SUPERKOMBAT Super Cruiserweight Championship. This was planned for December 22, 2012, in Bucharest. But Samedov got sick. So, Arnold Oborotov replaced him. The fight became a title eliminator. Stoica knocked Oborotov out in the first round.
Fighting in K-1 and LEGEND
On March 15, 2013, Stoica lost to Agron Preteni in Zagreb, Croatia. Preteni knocked him down in the second round. This changed the fight's direction. The judges gave Preteni the win.
Stoica then knocked out Zinedine Hameur-Lain in the second round. This happened at SUPERKOMBAT New Heroes 5 in Târgoviște, Romania, on August 30, 2013. He also knocked out Dženan Poturak in the second round on September 28.
He fought Agron Preteni again on November 9, 2013, in Moscow, Russia. Preteni won this close fight by a majority decision.
Becoming SUPERKOMBAT Champion
On December 21, 2013, Stoica won the vacant SUPERKOMBAT Super Cruiserweight Championship. He defeated Ondřej Hutník by unanimous decision in Galați, Romania.
GLORY and Title Defenses
On April 12, 2014, Stoica was knocked out by Danyo Ilunga at Glory 15: Istanbul. Ilunga landed a powerful right hand that ended the fight in the first round. Before this fight, Stoica trained with Alexander Gustafsson in Stockholm, Sweden.
Stoica was supposed to defend his SUPERKOMBAT title against Boy Boy Martin. But Martin pulled out. Ali Cenik replaced him. Stoica defeated Cenik by unanimous decision to keep his title.
He defended his title again on October 25, 2014, against Moises Baute. Stoica won by knockout in the third round. This win earned him "Fight of the Year" and "Knockout of The Year" awards for 2014.
Stoica continued his winning streak. He defeated Emilio Vallecillo by TKO in the first round on November 22, 2014. He also beat Marcello Adriaansz by unanimous decision on March 7, 2015.
On May 23, 2015, Stoica fought Thomas Alizier in his hometown. He won by knockout in the second round. He then defeated Abdarhmane Coulibaly by unanimous decision on July 19, 2015.
On August 1, 2015, Stoica defended his title against Fred Sikking. He won by first-round knockout with a left hook. He said after the win, "This belt is mine."
He fought Pavel Voronin on October 2, 2015. Stoica won by unanimous decision, making it his eighth straight win.
Stoica was set to defend his title against Jorge Loren. Loren won the fight by TKO. He knocked Stoica down three times in the first round.
After SUPERKOMBAT
Stoica fought Mladen Kujundžić at Respect World Series 1. Kujundžić won by TKO in the first round. Stoica then stopped his losing streak by knocking out Antonio Souza with a low kick in the first round.
He then lost to Tomáš Hron by unanimous decision. This was for the vacant W5 Intercontinental Super Heavyweight Championship.
After that loss, Stoica won four fights in a row. He beat Pavel Voronin, George Davis, Ivan Bartek, and Sahak Parparyan. Then he lost to Donegi Abena. He bounced back with a unanimous decision win against Tomas Steponkevicius.
In September 2018, Stoica joined the WFL Heavyweight tournament. He won against Levi Kuyken in the quarterfinals. But he lost to Nordine Mahieddine in the semifinals.
Back in Romania, Stoica fought twice for Dynamite Fighting Show. He defeated Sazan Memedi by decision and Luis Morais by first-round knockout. As of November 7, 2018, Enfusion Live ranked Stoica as the world's number 7 light-heavyweight.

After the fight, Stoica wanted to challenge Roman Kryklia for the ONE Kickboxing Light Heavyweight World Championship. They were supposed to fight for the title. But the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stoica also had a third fight with Pavel Voronin. This was at DFS 9. He won by split decision. Because opinions were divided, a rematch was booked for 2021.
Title Challenge
Stoica was scheduled to fight the ONE Kickboxing Light Heavyweight champion Roman Kryklia. This fight was postponed three times in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Kryklia and Stoica were supposed to meet in 2021. But in December 2020, Kryklia did not fight Murat Aygün. Stoica was on holiday but agreed to take the title match with only two weeks' notice. Kryklia weighed more at the official weigh-in.
Kryklia won the fight by unanimous decision. He controlled the match. Many people thought Stoica was not fully prepared for this fight.
Return to Fighting
Stoica returned to ONE at ONE 156 on April 22, 2022. He faced Giannis Stoforidis and won by split decision.
On February 25, 2023, Stoica fought Françesco Xhaja at ONE Fight Night 7. He lost this fight by split decision.
