1906 Intercalated Games

Austria has taken part in almost all of the modern Olympic Games. The only time they didn't compete was in the 1920 Summer Olympics. They were not allowed to join because of World War I.

Austria is super good at alpine skiing! They have won more medals in this sport than any other country in the world.

The group that helps Austrian athletes go to the Olympics is called the Austrian Olympic Committee. It was started in 1908 and officially recognized in 1912.

Cities That Hosted the Games
