List of national stadiums facts for kids
A national sport stadium is a special sports ground in a country. It's usually the main home for a country's top sports teams, especially for association football (soccer). These stadiums are often found in or near the country's capital city or biggest city.
National stadiums are usually the largest and most impressive sports venues in a country. They often have a rich history, hosting big events like the FIFA World Cup or the Olympics. Sometimes, a local team also uses the stadium.
However, not all countries have one official national stadium. For example, Spain and the United States often move important matches around to different stadiums. This can be good because it lets more fans see the games. It also helps with travel costs, especially in large countries like the United States.
