List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network facts for kids
Welcome to the exciting world of Cartoon Network! This TV channel started on October 1, 1992, and is famous for showing lots of awesome animated cartoons. You can find all kinds of shows here, from action-packed adventures to hilarious comedies.
When Cartoon Network first began, it mostly showed classic cartoons. These included popular reruns of Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and many Hanna-Barbera favorites. Think Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, and The Jetsons!
Later, Cartoon Network started making its own shows. Some of the very first original series were The Moxy Show and the unique talk show Space Ghost Coast to Coast. A special series called What a Cartoon! helped create many new shows. These new cartoons became known as "Cartoon Cartoons" starting in 1995. Cartoon Network also showed animated movies in blocks like "Cartoon Theater" and "Flicks."
