The 25th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was a super fun event held on March 31, 2012. It took place in Los Angeles, California, USA. Winners at this show received a cool orange blimp trophy!
A special silver blimp was given to Taylor Swift. This "Big Help Award" was presented by First Lady Michelle Obama. The list of all the nominees for the awards was announced on January 11, 2012.
The show was hosted by the famous actor Will Smith. He was also starring in the movie Men in Black 3, which came out later that year. Will Smith is a KCA legend, having won ten blimp awards before this show! Kids voted a record-breaking 223 million times for their favorites in 20 different categories. That was 11% more votes than the year before! The show was watched by over 6.1 million viewers, making it a top cable TV program that week.

Slime, Slime, and More Slime!
One of the most exciting parts of the Kids' Choice Awards is the green slime! Many celebrities got slimed during the show.
Slime Stunts
- There was a "Slime Wrestling Championship" where The Big Show defeated The Miz.
Slimed Celebrities
Before the show, in a special video, Will Smith slimed Victoria Justice, Daniel Radcliffe, and Shaun White. He also had a fun slime fight with Cameron Diaz. The band Big Time Rush even got slimed in the audience during a music video!
During the live show, these stars got slimed:
- Halle Berry – She was sitting in a special "perfect seat" when a bucket of slime was dumped on her!
- Chris Colfer – During an award presentation, an "Exploding Blimp" went off right in front of him, covering him in green slime.
- Heidi Klum – She got a light splash of slime when Chris Colfer was drenched.
- Taylor Lautner – After winning a push-up contest against Will Smith, his reward was a huge hose-down of slime.
- Justin Bieber – Will Smith tricked him into thinking someone else would be slimed, then big jets of slime covered both of them!
- Will Smith – Even though he was the host, Will couldn't escape the slime! He got slimed at the end of the show while trying to hide behind Justin Bieber.
- The Miz – After losing the slime wrestling match, he was thrown into a pool of slime.
- The Big Show – After winning, he and Jeff Sutphen were hosed down with slime. He even slipped and fell in it!
- Jeff Sutphen – He also got a big hose-down of slime with The Big Show.
- Santino Marella – He was the referee for the slime championship. After the match, he jumped into the pool of slime where The Miz was!
