What is the Texas Panhandle?
The Texas Panhandle is a unique part of Texas. It's in the very northern section of the state, shaped a bit like the handle of a pan! This area includes 26 counties. To the west, it borders New Mexico, and to the north and east, it touches Oklahoma. The southern edge of Swisher County is usually seen as the bottom of the Panhandle.
