This article is all about how many pears different countries grow! We get this information from the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database, which collects data on food around the world. In 2020, the world grew a total of about 23.1 million metric tonnes of pears. That's a huge amount! This was a little less than in 2019. Guess which country grew the most pears? It was China! China grew more than twice as many pears as all the other countries combined, making up about 70% of the world's total.
