The director is like the captain of a ship. They are in charge of the whole game. They make sure everyone is working together to create the game's vision. They decide how the game will look, feel, and play.
What is a Producer?
A producer helps manage the project. They make sure the team has what they need and that the game stays on schedule and budget. They often help with the business side of making a game. Sometimes, a producer also helps guide the creative direction.
What is a Designer?
The designer creates the rules and challenges of the game. They think about how the player will interact with the game world. This includes designing levels, characters, puzzles, and how the game feels to play. Miyamoto often started as a designer, coming up with the core ideas for games.
