New England is a cool region in the northeastern part of the United States. It includes six states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. This page lists the biggest cities and towns in New England that had more than 25,000 people living there in 2020.
Massachusetts has the most cities and towns on this list, with 80! Vermont has the fewest, with only one. Did you know that the state capitals of Vermont (Montpelier) and Maine (Augusta) aren't even in the top 150 biggest places? That's pretty interesting!
