This is a list of rivers and important streams in the state of New Hampshire, USA. All the rivers and larger streams listed here eventually flow into the Atlantic Ocean.
The rivers are organized by their main drainage basin (the area of land where water drains into a specific river). They are listed from north to south along the Atlantic coast. Smaller rivers that flow into a main river are called tributaries. These tributaries are listed from where they join the main river, starting near the ocean and moving upstream towards the source. If several rivers flow into a lake, they are listed clockwise around the lake.
Rivers and streams that are important for state protection are shown in bold. This means they are larger water bodies that need special care to keep them clean and healthy.
